Wow what an endearing, Wang aging surprise!

My first listen in this series. I couldn’t stop, ‘stayed up too late… What a gentle, kind, thoughtful, empathetic, transformative piece!
It’s about a small-town US newspaper that hires a Ukrainian journalist who then writes about his life during the war, while desperately trying to emotionally ignore the war.

My only critique? At the end it says he’s written for the New Yorker/ or will soon, but his name is not included in the description of the podcast and is hard to decipher audibly. Please add his name. TY
