  • On the show this week is Ann Swain. Ann is the Chief Executive of APSCo (The Association of Professional Staffing Companies) an international trade body representing the professional recruitment sector.

    Ann has over 30 years experience in the recruitment industry. She currently features in the SIA global power 50 list of the most influential women in international recruitment. She is also a co-author of the best selling 'Professional Recruiters Handbook' and if that's not impressive enough, in 2009 she accepted a fellowship from the NSPCC charity in recognition of her outstanding work to support vulnerable children in the UK.

    In this episode Ann shares some real and honest career advice which is sure to inspire any entrepreneur. From humble beginnings, "a working class girl" in her own words, Ann has achieved a remarkable career whilst raising seven daughters!
