  • You may or may not know that from the summer of 1979 through to the summer of 1981 Bob Dylan released three Gospel albums. Right in the time of musical advances like post-punk, goth, industrial, and hip-hop Bob Dylan went back to one of the original sources of this thing called rock n' roll. Straight up Christian songs from Dylan were not what audiences were looking for at the time. And yet he did his thing, as he always does, regardless of the complaints of the crowd.

    Here we explore these three albums and find some truly inspired tracks. You can judge for yourself whether these records hold up or not. Let's have Mr. Bob Dylan take us to church.
