  • Duke’s Paolo Banchero was picked #1 in the 2022 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic. Banchero out of Seattle’s O’Dea high school got it started, but then LSU’s Tari Eason from Garfield high was picked 17th by the Houston Rockets. Before the 1st round ended the Milwaukee Bucks selected Rainier Beach high’s Marjon Beauchamp from the G League’s ignite with the 24th pick of the draft. These three all battled each other in Seattle’s famed Metro League of high school basketball.


    We give our pre draft thoughts on the 3 of them, who we predicted would go #1, and who we thought would be the best dressed player at the draft.
