Really works!
This podcast has worked better for me than any other! Andrew's voice is perfect as the reader.

Better than chamomile
The reader reads slow and without a bunch wake- you-back-up vocal drama. If I'm having a bad night, I can just pop an episode on and I'm usually back to sleep before it's done. If not I get up and have a cup of tea and try again.

Relaxing
Never a disappointment when I can’t fall asleep! I don’t get why people take issue with the cadence. It’s perfect to pass out to!

Outdated language
Consistently uses “men” when it (presumably) means “people”. Unless women didn’t think, act, or ever speak in Ancient Greece.

Nope Not For me
The concept of reading the classics as a sleep story is good but this narrator makes me want to throw something against the wall. Not relaxing and here is no cadence for continuity.

Strange, stilted voice pattern
The narrator’s speech pattern makes it impossible to relax or pay attention to the story. It’s very short/clipped/stilted and doesn’t flow like normal English, despite the narrator being obviously fluent in English. So bizarre.
