• The Conversion of Wesley Campbell Ep 31
    Dec 23 2021

In Ep. 30, Rick Pino interviews Wesley Campbell, who tells his conversion of being an ‘all in’ Canadian freestyle skier and party guy to an unabashed preacher of the gospel.

Growing up in the 60’s and 70’s in British Columbia’s tourist hotspot, Wesley Campbell had a great life. Hot sands beaches in the summer and some of the best powder skiing in Canada in the winter.

Coming from a long line of lay preachers in the Plymouth Brethren movement, Wesley was made to go church almost every week – and he hated it! His earliest recollections include having to sit through three boring church meetings each Sunday. The only respite from Sunday church was in the summers when he worked at his family fruit markets 7 days a week for 10 to 15 hours a day.  When not working Wesley would much rather play sports, hang out with girls, and party, party, party!

However, during his last year of high school, Wesley’s mother was diagnosed with malignant bone cancer. Chemotherapy and radiation treatments could not stop the relentless advance of this disease. Every week looked worse than the last. Feeling awkward and not knowing how to deal with her impending death, Wesley would stay out night after night. He threw himself into the skiing and partying.

As his mother grew worse, Wesley tried to put her declining health out of his mind.  Not wanting to miss the biggest North American Freestyle skiing competition of the year, Wesley decided to go to a ski hill three hours away. The skies were blue, the snow fantastic, and the parties wild. In the middle of a crowded bar, Wesley phoned home to find out how his mother was doing. The response was a shock – his mother had just died a few hours ago. It March 11th - two days before his 18th birthday.

After that Wesley stopped caring about everything. Whatever religious restraint he had held in the past was now gone. He went deeper into sports and partying. He got so bad that as he says, “I sinned myself into salvation.” Wrestling with sin and conviction, Wesley was becoming disgusted with who he had become.

Listen to the night of struggle when Wesley finally gave his life unreservedly to follow God . . . and go from partier to preacher.

Hear the conversion of Wesley Campbell as interviewed by worship leader Rick Pino.

  • FROM REFUGEE TO RUNWAY DESIGNER : THE STORY OF NANCY VUU Ep 30
    Dec 21 2021

From a refugee boat in Vietnam to the runways of New York and the Oscars in L.A., Nancy Vuu’s rags to riches story will inspire and move you to believe for greatness in your own life. Many of us see the stories of refugees breaking through walls, risking their lives crossing oceans in small boats, or walking hundreds of miles seeking a better life.  But what happens to them when they reach the land of their dreams?  Are they all criminals? Or are some just families looking for a better life?

Nancy’s family escaped Vietnam when the Communists were invading the country.  After a long and perilous journey, they finally ended up in the United States, where they were taken in by a Christian family.  Through hard work and determination, Nancy broke through from poverty to a middle-class lifestyle.  At 30 years old, with 4 children, Nancy heard the voice of God in a vision for the first time? What did He say? He said: “Every little girl dreams of being a princess,” as He showed her poor little girls from many continents. “I want you to be a designer and design for them, so that every little girl of every race will be a princess.”

So, with no experience, no money, and no connections in the fashion world, Nancy began to draw the dress she saw in the vision.   The rest is history.  You will not want to miss this exciting story of the power of the prophetic to take you to places beyond your wildest imagination!!

  • What the Spirit is Saying to the Church Ep 29 | Apostolic Christianity in a Shutdown World with Georgian Banov
    Oct 14 2021

Georgian Banov is an ‘Apostle of Joy.’ Everywhere he and his wife, Winnie, go they bring the supernatural joy of the Lord.

In this episode of “What the Spirit is Saying to the Church” Georgian stresses the need to get back to the practice of the early church. It was not big buildings, nor big meetings that turned the world upside down.  Rather, it was small groups who welcomed the outcast and the disenfranchised.

As a communist atheist refugee, Georgian came to America with no vision. He was fleeing oppression and had no idea what to do next. Yet, it was the ‘Jesus People’ of the 1970’s living in community, feeding the hungry, and loving the unlovely that reached Georgian’s heart. Good news looked like something.

In an age of a world-wide pandemic, government over-reach, and the tension of gathering, Georgian says we must get back to the simplicity of the apostolic gospel where all believers welcome people into their homes and break bread together (Acts 2:42; Acts 5:42).

Yes, there will be stadium gatherings. However, the same time we must gather together wherever we are and share food and fellowship. We must win the hearts of people who have lost their way. Jesus said, “I have come to seek and to save the lost”, How will He do that today? He will do it through you and through me, through our relationships.

Listen to what this ‘Apostle of Joy’ says the Spirit is Saying to the Church as he exhorts the us to get back to apostolic Christianity.

  • The Conversion Series Ep 29 | THE CONVERSION OF Georgian Banov
    Oct 12 2021

Georgian Banov grew up in Eastern Europe during the communist regime, and was taught that there was no God! So he never thought about God and his great love was music. From childhood onwards, Georgian was trained in classical violin. But when ‘rock and roll’ hit Western Europe in the mid 60's, Georgian discovered a whole new genre of music.  He discovered the Beatles by secretly listening to illegal broadcasts on his grandfather's short-wave radio.

Captivated by these strange and wonderful new sounds, he shared this new music with three of his friends.  In a short time, they learned all of the Beatles

songs and formed the first official rock band of Bulgaria. In 1965, they made their debut on national television and became an overnight sensation. Rock music became the catalyst to gather thousands of youth and start a movement of frustration and rebellion. Soon the communist authorities recognized their mistake and outlawed their concerts. Knowing he could go to jail as a dissident, Georgian decided to escape to the Western world.

Listen to Georgian Banov’s incredible journey as he risked his life to escape from Bulgaria. Once across the Iron Curtain, America welcomed him in as a refugee and granted him asylum.

En route to California, Georgian encountered the "Jesus People" witnessing on the streets of Los Angeles. Through their love and their free food, these Jesus People won Georgian’s trust. Eventually, without even believing that there was a God, Georgian challenged God, “If you are real show yourself to me!” Immediately, Georgian was enveloped in a blanket of God … which he describes as fire. Georgian was totally born again in an instant. Georgian continued to have encounters with God for weeks thereafter. God showed Georgian his role in the end time harvest, where as an old man, he would be part of seeing stadiums filled with God seekers.

Listen to the Conversion of Georgian Banov. You will be thrilled as you hear how God can reach a disillusioned, atheistic rock star, and turn him into an ‘Apostle of Joy’.

  • What the Spirit is Saying to the Church Ep 28 with Kamran Yaraei “LOVE YOUR ENEMIES”
    Sep 2 2021

Once a devout Muslim, Kamran was radically converted to Christ through encounters with Jesus and the love of Christians (listen to his Conversions  story on the free Shiloh Global App or on the www.healingroomssmv.com website). Having experienced the love of Jesus, Kamran is passionate to tell everyone that no one is too far from the love of Christ.  Kamran makes a big distinction between the religion of Islam and the Muslim people and he encourages believers in the West to follow the way of Christ and “love your enemies, do good to those who hurt you” (Matt. 5:44). You will be inspired by Kamran’s unique understanding of how persecution is accelerating revival in Iran and Afghanistan (the two nations where Christianity is growing the fastest).  Wherever radical Islam goes, it makes way for searchers to look for the true God of love and mercy. Hear “What the Spirit is Saying to the Church” concerning the Muslim harvest!
