Cannot Download or stream
can't stream or download any of the Hardcore History episodes. So when I'm able to listen I'll give a proper review. I've listened to these before, just not on Audible. I'd like to though.

The Creme de la Creme of History Podcasts
What more can you say? Dan Carlin is an absolute champion. His content, outlook, research, and most of all, method of delivery are the new bar for what a history Podcast should be. I actually have a difficult time listening to lots of other podcasts, because Dan's delivery makes others seem cheap and haphazard. It simply doesn't get any finer. 11/10. Top Hole

Beyond universally brilliant!
I listen to this whole series Supernova in the east in less than 3 days that's how good Dan Carlin is! his attention to every campaign in the Asia Pacific War blows any book into the water. what's nice though is he references a bunch of books on all of the battles of the Asia Pacific War of World War II and leaves no stone unturned! Dan helps The Listener understand what was going through the mines of the soldiers, Marines, sailors, generals, and political leaders, along with civilians. Dan does a great job of comparing these events to events in our own lives so we can relate better to them. he does military history serious Justice!
I have such a better understanding of the campaigns in China, Burma, India, and all the Pacific Islands. he gives the Australians the credit they deserve to which I feel they are so underrated in the entire Pacific War. truly a genius of military history and political history along with history all together! 100 stars for this series!!
