Moshe is not mentioned in this Parsha, unlike anywhere else in

the Chumash; from when Moshe was born, there is no Parsha in

which he wasn’t mentioned besides for in Mishneh Torah (Sefer

Devarim.) The reason is because he said (to G-d), “Erase me

from the book which You wrote,” and the word of a scholar,

even if conditional, is ultimately fulfilled (Makos 11).
