We had the pleasure of sitting down with Duncan Wilson, 2022-2023 South Carolina Gatorade high school soccer player of the year and current Clemson University Soccer Player. We dive deep into Duncan's youth sports experiences, and how those experiences paved the road toward being recruited to play soccer for the his dream school, the Clemson Tigers. Duncan talks about how the love of the game and building technical skills as a young player, helped him as he grew into his body as a teenager. Duncan stresses the importance of young players to have fun, but also to work hard to do their best at each stage of the game in order to achieve their dreams. We had the pleasure of sitting down with Mauldin High School Varsity women's head coach and Greenville Liberty assistant coach, Alison Stelling. In this episode we dive deep into Alison's background in youth sports, and how her experiences in youth sports led her to becoming the head coach at the power house soccer program, Mauldin High School. She talks about her philosophy regarding leadership and character, and how maintaining a focus on that is one of the big reasons why the program has sustained such high winning standard throughout her tenure.
