    This week, in Cary, North Carolina, a successful young couple seem to be living a great life, until things become not so great. Affairs & weird controlling behavior cause detectives to suspect the husband, when his wife is found face down & strangled in a construction site, after going for a jog in their affluent neighborhood. The one piece of evidence against him is a simple Google search, but that's not anywhere near the end of this wild story!!


    Along the way, we find out that apparently dogs aren't to be allowed near gourds, that Google can be the most helpful, or hurtful thing that exists, and that you never know what goes on behind fancy closed doors!!

    This week, in Washington Boro, Pennsylvania, a woman is found dead & bloody, while still inside of her car, hidden in a cornfield. What unfolds from there is an uncovering of one of the worst executed murders in history. Two grown men, paid to kill, couldn't physically overtake a 40 year old convenience store manager, so they take things to extreme measures, with violent & ridiculous results. This conspiracy is found out, and everyone scrambles to avoid the death penalty!!


    Along the way, we find out that tomatoes can be their own sandwich, that it's much harder to impersonate a cop, if you don't have a uniform, and that if you can't execute your murder plot, as planned, maybe it's not the time to improvise!!

Not the same old murder cases

James researches and writes about the murder cases and Jimmy hears about the cases when we do so his reactions are real and express the shock and horror that the rest of us feel. James provides an overview of the town and sometimes the times since some of the murders are from the 1970s or 1980s. The best part of this podcast is these two cover cases that have not been done on every other true crime podcast and have only covered a handful of cases that I have heard on other podcasts. A side benefit of this podcast is James's books suggestions. I've listened to several of the books that he has suggested and I enjoyed all of them.

YAYYYYYY!!!

So glad I can finally review STM! Never did figure that out on Google podcasts. These guys are hilarious! The number of times I have cracked up and had to pull over while driving is just... innumerable. I die every time James says "it's just haw-rrible" in his NY accent. Jimmie is a sessy beast with a heart of gold. These guys make murder fun 😜

The BEST True Crime Podcast

My absolute favorite true crime podcast. James & Jimmie together are lightning in a bottle. James' deep research, and ability to find the unknown stories,, surpasses all other podcasts. His storytelling abilities are topnotch. Jimmie is, well, Jimmie. These two friends knock it out of the park every week!

Love you guys so much!

These guys are great! Fun laughing at small towns (just like the one I live in) with stories that hook you and make you cringe at the same time. My husband and I have become fans - we listen every weekend after the kids go to bed. Carry on Jimmie and James! :)
