• Sarah Roberts is having good sex on (and off) screen
    May 31 2025

Sarah Roberts has been through more than most people in the last five years. The actor and DJ lost her brother in 2019, grappled with infertility and pregnancy loss and last year, ended her marriage to her former Home And Away co-star James Stewart. But Sarah believes that when she turned 40 last December, she finally turned a corner. In this exclusive conversation, Sarah joins us in the Something To Talk About studio to discuss what her life looks like now, reveal that she has found love again, and discuss how appearing in Make It Look Real, a new documentary about the rise of intimacy coordinators on film and television sets, taught her how to finally set boundaries — and in the process, changed her life for the better.

This episode touches upon pregnancy loss. If you or someone you know needs support, visit Miscarriage Australia.

You can watch Sarah in her new documentary Make It Look Real at the 2025 Sydney Film Festival, 4-15 June.

  • Are we about to find out what happened to William Tyrrell?
    May 17 2025

The disappearance of three-year-old William Tyrrell - the little boy in the Spider-Man suit who vanished from his foster grandmother’s garden - is a case that shocked the nation, destroyed lives and ended careers. More than 10 years later, we still don’t have answers.

Award-winning journalists Dan Box and Nina Young have been covering the story since William first went missing in September 2014. Late last year, they released the investigative podcast Witness: William Tyrrell, which went straight to the top of the charts and has since had millions of downloads.

Now, after months of research, being back on the road and speaking to people involved in the case, four new episodes are about to be released revealing shocking information that’s never been heard before.

In this episode of Something To Talk About, Dan and Nina join Sarrah in the studio to share the reality of what it was like to create the series, the personal toll of investigating true crime - and what they’ve uncovered along the way.

  • The family business of Mamamia: in conversation with Mia Freedman & Jessie Stephens
    Apr 26 2025

When Mamamia co-founder Mia Freedman first hired Jessie Stephens to write for her, she had no idea she had also just hired her eldest son's future wife, and the mother of her first grandchild.

That was 10 years ago. Since then, Mia and Jessie have gone on to sit opposite each other as two of the co-hosts of the Mamamia Out Loud podcast and have recently wrapped production on the second season of Strife, the TV drama loosely based on Mia’s memoir, on which Jessie worked as a co-producer and writer and Mia as an executive producer.

The mother and daughter-in-law duo sat down with Sarrah in the Something To Talk About studio for their first-ever interview together to talk all things work and family - and whether truth really is stranger than fiction.

Strife season two will premiere on BINGE May 8.

On this episode of Something To Talk About, Rodger opens up about the twists and turns of his career to date, how he feels about his daughter Zipporah following her parents into the entertainment industry, and why getting a second opinion when his wife Renae was diagnosed with cervical cancer was the best thing they’ve ever done.
