Christians care about the sacred, and we care about the worth given by the sacred. Because our neighbors are created in God's image, they have dignity, they have worth. It's difficult to remember this in the midst of an argument. Our brain gets focused on winning. Our body gets warm and we find ourselves yelling and shouting and resorting to ad hominem jabs.
