A tie is all we needed (and still do!) last Saturday to guarantee home field advantage in the first round of USL Playoffs, and unfortunately we didn't get it. This week SRFC played two games which resulted in ties (return of the Men's Warehouse sponsorship?) 2-2 vs Monterey Bay (in an unfortunate last minute tie) and a 0-0 tie away at Memphis! Despite winning 1-0 at halftime, we ended up losing 2-1 at San Antonio, although the positive after the match was Sac Republic clinching playoffs! Last Sunday we witnessed one of the best home games of the season as Sac Republic beat first place New Mexico, 4-0! The SOTR team talks about a 25k seat stadium on the way to Sac (could it be SRFC's future home?), game day experience, the actual game, the USL Standings and what we need to qualify for playoffs (and also host at least one playoff game), and more!

The last two games this past week were not what we had hoped for. We lost 3-1 at New Mexico, and 2-1 at Las Vegas and now have to be focused to not lose any points and risk losing home advantage for the playoffs. Our two special guests tonight, Nick and Wendy, share their story taking a trip to both cities to support Sac Republic.
