  • Summary

  • The world was on the verge of collapse in the year 2030. Human fertility dramatically declined as a result of the widespread consumption of genetically modified foods and rising levels of airborne pollution. The end of the human race appeared imminent.

Professor Sigma Shukran, an eccentric but brilliant scientist, provided a glimmer of hope, though. After spending his entire life advancing cloning research, he put forth a solution: Terradroids, artificially produced people who could help ensure the survival of humanity.

At first, people were skeptical and afraid of his ideas. People were concerned that since these Terradroids lacked a soul, they might pose a threat. They feared that the creation of these beings might make the existing hopelessness and suffering even worse. However, as the fertility crisis worsened, more individuals started to see promise in Professor Shukran's strategy.

By 2040, the world has been dramatically changed by this new technology. The most notable of these is the creation of a new type of human being known called "Terradroid" created in partnership with an agency called AndrosapienTech, under contract with The Department of Space-Time Anomalies (DTSA). These non-human sapiens became very powerful in their new time period and began to alter things — including human life, drastically.

By the year 2054, Professor Shukran had developed into a philanthropist and the head of a time travel company. He used his considerable power and resources to promote the Terradroids program all over the world. A human population on the brink of extinction was the recipient of the first generation of Terradroids.
