Taking the Elevator to a Better Life: What's Your Destination?

  • Summary

  • Are you ready to transform your life and be empowered after incarceration? Did you know you’re more likely to become successful in your life after prison if you hear other success stories and have a mentor? With the right support and mentorship, you can become the change you desire and who God called you to be.

In this episode of the Prosperity after Prison Podcast, we have Reverend Jonathan Queen from Maryland as he shares his story of redemption and salvation. Jonathan came from a broken home, which forced him into the life of drug dealing at a very early age. After spending most of his younger years incarcerated, he joined the ADEP Program, which completely changed his mindset and led to an early release from prison.

Jonathan explains his commitment to helping formerly incarcerated people in his community change their life and become dependable members of society. Together with his wife, they started the New Mindz Ministries, a non-profit organization that provides education, mentoring, life skills training, and resources for at-risk youth/adults and returning citizens.

Listen in to learn the importance of being prepared and having a mentor to support you in becoming reflective of the person you’ve become after incarceration.
