  • Cole is a native of Parkersburg, IA and placed 3 times at the state tournament for the Falcons, finishing 4th, 3rd and 8th. Cole found his home after high school at Ellsworth CC, where he became an AA. He would then go on to compete at Northwestern College, an NAIA school in Iowa, and qualify for nationals 2 more times. After his competitive career came to an end, Cole found himself in the corner. He became Head Coach of his alma mater Ellsworth CC in 2011 and brought them back to national relevance. Then, in 2019, Indian Hills CC called him up and wanted him to be the first wrestling coach in the schools history. In 5 years as coach of both the men’s and women’s programs, he’s put Indian Hills wrestling on the map at the JUCO level. So please, sit back, relax and enjoy, Head Coach Cole Spree!
