Music: *Grateful Dead, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones etc. Debut in the 60s becoming dime of the most worldwide famous names/bands to ever exist

Explaining Grateful Dead song “Ripple”: The more relaxing song Ripple has many verses to it that can be interpreted to your listening, what I interpret from it personally, is how everyone has their path in life and having the joy of others around you can help but don’t always rely on those when the true person you are is yourself, not anyone else.

The band itself seems to promote peace and love through their music and shows that as a message to the audience or to listeners

Song “Breath in the air” by Pink Floyd: is one another interesting song, maybe more easy to decipher with the lyrics saying “Long you live and high you fly, Smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry, And all you touch and all you see Is all your life will ever be” In the end, it’s symbolizing pure life and how we should appreciate it.

    woodstock 60’s festival

A peace filled weekend and music turns out to be a remarkable event of the 60s, even if it was more or less a disaster, but through huge crowds, bad weather and poor conditions, there was no violence or outbursts, just peace and enjoyment

Fashion: https://www.centralcasting.com/how-create-authentic-60s-look/Appreciating clothing is just as important. Bell Bottoms, Tie Dye, corduroy pants, flower patches and fun designs. It kind of sounds like today's fashion trends, from “flared jeans” to patches on pants, this didn’t just appear out of the blue, practically everything is just an old trend being rekindled. More or less, this is around where the “hippies” era started, but it’s really in its golden days in the 70s, if you’re curious about that just hold on and that’ll be coming your way soon. Art: https://www.tate.org.uk/art/art-terms/p/pop-art

Too cool not to talk about.. Pop art! I'm sure you’ve heard of Andy Warhol, famous for his stand out colorful works of art, especially the Marilyn Monroe piece.

Pop art was very untraditional.. to traditional art. Yes, abstract was a thing., but pop art is on a different level, very unique but too much to process for some. Pop art is eye candy. Very mesmerizing and fun to look at. It was taking other works of art and combining it into your own, sort of like collaging, the start to what continues today.
