Welcome to the Maximum Off Grid Podcast! In this week's episode, I analyze a very interesting interview between Joe Rogan and Elon Musk about the advancement of Artificial Intelligence.   

Elon Musk is a cofounder of OpenAI, the company that created ChatGPT, the AI chatbot that is taking the internet by storm.   

However, Elon Musk left OpenAI because they moved from being opensource to privatized, and Elon became troubled in the direction in which the technology and the company was heading.   Although a lot of channels are focusing on what AI tools are available to us now, I want to deep dive into where artificial intelligence is heading and how it will affect all of humanity.   

Some of the topics include: 

- Artificial Intelligence evolving into Artificial General Intelligence 

- When will AI become sentient 

- How will humanity use Artificial Intelligence 

- The potential dangers of AI 

- The strange relationship between people and technology  

Personally, I find some of these trends very disturbing and am really feeling like homesteading and off grid living are the only way to circumvent being involved with this revolution. However, it is also going to be a very helpful technology that will increase the quality of life for many people.
