The defense was picked apart by 445 yards of total offense by the Bucs. Jalen Hurts and the offense struggled mightily without their star receivers Brown and Smith. A lot of questions are circling around the now 2-2 team heading into the bye week. How much longer will Nick Sirianni be in charge of this team? How much blame should be on Jalen?

It was an unsettling afternoon watching the Birds take on the Saints down in New Orleans. Neither offense was spectacular through 3 quarters.The Eagles were scoreless until a massive Saquon Barkley run for a touchdown in the 4th quarter. Dallas Geodert had the biggest game of his life going for 170 yards on the day. The bright spot for the entire game was that the Eagles' defense showed up and performed on the road against a high-flying opponent. There were some major key injuries to Lane Johnson, Devonta Smith and Mekhi Becton.

The Phillies were unable to clinch their playoff berth last night to the Mets after losing to a score of 10-6. Taijuan Walker let up 8 runs in 3 innings. Taijuan's rough outing puts a pause of the Phillies playoff clinch for at least another day.

The Birds head down to the Big Easy to take on Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints. The Saints have been one of the hottest teams to start off the new NFL year. Alvin Kamara leads the league in rushing touchdowns and the Saints offense has been extremely high powered.
