We recap our busy 4 day weekend at the Wanoa Member Guest Tournament. From practice round, to qualifying, to our 3 match play matches we had many ups and downs. We also battled quite a bit of weather during our first match. It was quite a grind to get through the weekend playing so many holes with some longs rounds due to the course being backed up as well as lightning delays. We powered through it and were able to end the weekend on a high note.

We recap the Spartan Cup tournament. A fundraiser tournament that TJ has run for the past 3 years to benefit the East Syracuse Minoa Marching Band. We both entered our own captain and crew teams this year and had our highest number of golfers yet with 96. Basic Bogeys was also one of the hole sponsors. We then splpit off for some side interviews to get other feedback on the event from varying golfers levels and volunteers.

In the meantime, it is on to the next tournament for us. The member guest 4 day tournament is officialy underway and we are looking to improve on how we placed last year. We go over somethings that we are hoping to improve on as well as goals we have for ourselves for the action packed labor day weekend!

It was during the COVID-19 pandemic when Owner of Club Doctor, Adam Riedel discovered his love for golf. What started as an occasional trip to Top Golf developed into a deep passion for the game when his father brought home an old bag of clubs found on the curb for the garbage truck.

Adam was hooked immediately and spent every waking moment of the next months practicing and playing. As his game improved, he considered buying brand new clubs, but quickly realized the steep cost attached to that. Being a junior in college attending the University of Dayton, he could not afford a new set of clubs. After realizing he could not afford new clubs, an idea popped into Adam's head. What if there was a way to restore the old clubs from the curb and make them look brand new?
