The Golden State Killer. The Unabomber. Ted Bundy. You’re probably familiar with these serial killers. But in the mid-1970s, another monster terrorized San Francisco’s gay community. He was coined “The Doodler,” and he may have been responsible for as many victims as the Zodiac Killer, yet you’ve probably never heard of him. Plagued by a complicated investigation, a frightened public, and the hesitation of many to come forward, the case went cold, and a killer walked free. Nearly 50 years later, a renewed hunt for a forgotten serial killer seeks to change that. This is a re-released series from The Binge archives. • Introducing... Witnessed: Borderlands
    Jul 26 2021
The tall-but-true tale of a charismatic outlaw, an iconic small-town sheriff, and the record-setting drug bust that ensnared them both. Set in the rugged Texas borderlands, host Rob D’Amico transports listeners back to the U.S. side of the border for the opening salvo of the War on Drugs … where so much dirty money was swirling across the Rio Grande that even the most incorruptible citizens would be tempted. In the tradition of films like No Country for Old Men and Charles Portis novels, Witnessed: Borderlands mashes up the shockingly real and the deeply surreal, chronicling not just the events of a crime, but digging deep into the mystery and aura of one of America’s most myth-soaked regions. Not a bad story but of course gotta play the white privilege card so beware.

Not bad but leftist buzzwords abound

I loved this true crime podcast, which I binged over the course of 3 days. It is about the murder of Presh, the narrator's grandmother. It is also, interestingly, funny and charming, full of colorful Southern characters and the narrator's delightfully droll commentary. However, most compelling is the tender story of Presh, her eccentricities, her courage, and her sense of justice. Larrison's insight into that character and the injustice still present in her hometown make this much more than the typical true crime podcast.

One of the best podcasts

Family full of somebodies🙄 blame the outcast of the fam for murdering his aunt? I’m caught up so far(episode 5) without paying for subscription to watch future episodes early. So obviously it has kept my attention. So far no evidence at all that Richard killed his aunt! Maybe evidence comes out in future episodes? It surely must in order to have the nerve to make a podcast on this subject. As far as I stand right now I feel horrible for Richard! I’d like to know did Charlotte or Richard inherit lots of money after her death? If not, who did? Maybe you are looking at the wrong family member! It seems Richard would be an easy finger to point at to take the finger off the culprit! You can really tell how much of an outcast Richard is when fam members reminisce fam get togethers. If he was having a conversation with someone others felt the need to step in and save that person from having a conversation with him. Disgusting and really sad. It’s a no wonder he may of said awkward things listen in your own words how all of you treated him. Put yourself in his shoes!!

Blame the awkward black sheep in the fam.
