  • BLCAD402: Head Over Bills: Bad S3x, 50/50 & Oral: Dealbreaker or No-brainer?
    Nov 2 2024

In the second episode of The BLC Pod: After Dark Edition, Nic Nice, SNM Jones, Kim Jones, and Just J dive into a range of taboo and hilarious topics. They kick off with a lighthearted chat on Halloween traditions—are they dressing up this year, and is the “sexy costume” thing still alive? Things take a spicy turn as they talk politics, touching on whether objectifying a female candidate holds up as “equality” when figures like Barack Obama have been subject to the same. Of course, they remind viewers of the real importance: exercising their right to vote. In the first big topic of the night, SNM raises a question we all think about but rarely discuss: Is everyone having mediocre sex? And if so, are people faking it? The hosts share their perspectives, debating why mediocrity in the bedroom may be more common than we realize and whether faking it is ever justified. Next, the crew explores the 50-50 relationship debate with a twist: If both partners are carrying equal weight in life, does that mean splitting intimacy equally? Can work, kids, and daily life impact expectations around sex? They dive deep into whether prioritizing each other’s needs can overcome the challenges of a busy life. And finally, they tackle a classic question—Is oral sex a dealbreaker? Some say it’s essential, while others think it’s negotiable. As always, the hosts bring the laughs and the real talk, serving up yet another episode full of bold conversations. Don’t miss this episode! • OSC Ep. 5: Common Denominator: F*ckboys, V-Cards, & FATLASH!!!
    Oct 12 2024

In this episode of Off-Season Conversation, after acknowledging and wishing those dealing with Hurricane Milton the best, Nic Nice, SNM Jones, Kim Jones, & Just J start the show revisiting a topic discussed in the previous season, rapper/actor Common being a f*ckboy. In a recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Jennifer asked Common about his recent comments about marrying her and he seemed to double down on his f*ckboy antics. Sides were clearly drawn, arguments made, and YOU get to be the judge. Is Common a F*ckboy? The gang turns their attention to the recent revelation that Tia Mowry was a virgin when she met her now ex-husband, Cory Hardrict, and wonder if that changes the perception about her. In the wake of her divorce, and several public relations gaffes, she became the avatar for modern men’s complaint about women leaving marriages and families, simply because she’s unhappy. With the recent admission, some wonder if this is her trying to spin the narrative in her favor, while others opine about the impact being a virgin and marrying the man you lost it to can have on a woman deciding to stick it out or leave the relationship. The group moves the conversation to Lizzo and her recent weight loss. In the age of Ozempic, some wonder if she lost the weight naturally. Others wonder if the constant cycle of losing weight, just to gain it back, while dealing with the issue publicly is actually impacting Lizzo negatively. And finally, the crew previews the next season of The BLC Pod: The After Dark Edition. After 3 seasons, everyone’s excited about heating things up and talking about in a way that only The BLC Pod can. The next season premieres Oct. 26, so stay tuned for that and so much more. • BLC312: Throwing Out the Babies w/ the Bath Water: Dr. Bryant, Cam Newton, & Nick Cannon
    Sep 7 2024

On the season finale of @theBLCod, Nic Nice, SNM Jones, Kim Jones, & Just J start with the double standard between men and women when it comes to choosing not to have children (04:30). According to SNM, John Cena's conversation with Shannon Sharpe about not wanting kids was met with acceptance, while Amanda Seales received criticism for expressing the same sentiment. The discussion touches on the societal expectation for women to be vessels for procreation and the challenges and risks associated with childbirth. It also highlights the importance of respecting individual choices and not pressuring women to have children. From there the conversation addresses Cam Newton questioning Dr. Cheyenne Bryant, and her ability to give relationship advice due to her age marital status, and not having kids (28:55). It was also expanded to include whether women like Dr. Bryant, attractive, never been married with no kids, are a red flag as a life coach and as a woman. Staying with the conversation with Cam Newton and Dr. Bryant, the crew discuss accountability for creating the broken homes that was discussed during the interview (50:55). With Cam having 8 kids by 3 different women who he never married, the gang defines what a broken home is and who’s more responsible for creating them: Cam or the women he procreated with? And finally, the cast discuss Nick Cannon’s conversation with that same Dr. Bryant about whether he preys on women with low self-esteem and if the women who signed up for his “program” are low functioning for doing so (01:14:00). While the crew holds Dr. Bryant accountable for her presumptions about women she’s never met, they wonder if her assumptions about Nick and the women who chose to have kids with him and create “broken homes” are valid and if their behavior could be deemed as low functioning. • SN116: Calling Cap on CAM & Men’s “Fear” of Divorce & Marriage!
    Aug 31 2024

On this special episode of #saidNICEly, Nic responds to the Cam Newton conversation with Dr. Cheyenne Bryant on his show, Funky Fridays. The part that really piqued Nic’s interests was when Cam mentioned how his desire for marriage was less than his fear of divorce. After hearing men on social media express the same “fears” for the past several years, Nic finally had ENOUGH and calls out Cam, and men like him, for what’s really holding them back from marriage, and it’s NOT fear of divorce. He also wonders why men focus mainly on the negatives and why some are so confident in some areas and not others. And finally, he answers the question that many men seem to be asking today: What are the benefits of marriage to a man? Join the conversation and let's communicate respectfully!
