In this episode of The Box of Oddities, we explore two mind-boggling tales: the eerie case of Patient X, a medical mystery so bizarre it left doctors questioning everything they knew about the human body. Was it science? Was it sorcery? Or was it just a really weird Tuesday? Then, we unearth a long-forgotten, top-secret speech—written just in case the Apollo 11 astronauts didn’t make it back from the moon. Because nothing says “historic achievement” like also planning for catastrophic space doom. Who wrote this chilling message? And why does it read like the script for the world’s most unsettling Oscar speech? The best in odd true stories!

I love the Box of Oddities Podcast! It's very entertaining and true facts! Kat and JG state where their facts come from. They really do their research.

My favorite podcast ever

I generally hate Couples, but Kat and Jethro are charming and adorable. Content is almost always interesting. I love That Thing in the Middle. I am always sad when each episode ends.

Simply the best!

This is the best podcast out there, hands down. Endearing and entertaining, intelligent and funny, it's everything you can ask for. In fact, I wish they could release episodes daily! Enjoy! (and you're welcome 😉)

Reminds me of a bad a.m. morning show

Listened to one episode - of course it began with commercials, then they talked about the subject vaguely for ten minutes, had some more commercials, read boring listener emails praising their show, then talked about random nonsense until the end. All of this with lame, forced jokes throughout. I'd call it Christian Humor - awful but always with the obligatory laugh from the other. Looks like others have a very different opinion, proclaiming them as 'adorable and playful' and such. Just not for me.
