When it comes to building and leaving a legacy, all the competence and accomplishments in the world won’t compensate for a lack of character. But where does a lack of character begin? Where does it start? How do we get to the place where we end up doing something we’ll regret for a moment, season, or a lifetime? Surprisingly, a lack of character never starts with the BIG stuff. It’s way more subtle than that.

As much as no one likes to talk about it, one day we’re all going to not be here anymore. So here’s the socially awkward question: what will people say about you when you’re gone?
