Awesome as always- but Pre-IPO is equity? When?

I have grown to love the Compound and Friends as a fan of Josh and Michael’s content. It is always fascinating. I challenge Josh’s opinion that pre-IPO investing is the same as an equity investment. I agree at a basic level of your argument, but at what point do you draw the line between VC Unicorn and Pre-IPO? As soon as their interest in going public is announced? I think think late stage VC vs pre ipo investing have two different risk levels given public market interest in one vs the other. Nonetheless it is always awesome to watch you guys.

historic revision in real time

COVID response apologist claims finance bros are the only ones that understood how bad COVID would be. Cause you know, COVID response was reasonable and necessary and definitely didn't make things worse
