Larisa is a PhD student at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST), where she is doing research in evolutionary neurobiology. She has been fighting a rare genetic disease called Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) since she was a teenager. This prompted her to get interested in everything related to health and science in general. Larisa is passionate about longevity, educating people about CMT and the power of science.
