About this listen
The Deepwater Horizon oil spill on April 20, 2010 is considered the largest and most devastating oil spill in US history. it has had more severe environmental consequences than ever before for the US marine ecosystem: Three months after the incident, the already-exploited well leaked more than 300 Olympic-sized oil tanks into the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The Deepwater Horizon disaster pumped out 12 times more oil than the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill. The explosion caused the entire Deepwater Horizon rig to burn into a giant fireball, visible from 64 km. All stories are for reference only. If there is incorrect information, please comment. Sincerely thank!
