Ep. 50 This week, undefeated 17 year-old pro boxer, Joseph Brown (2-0, 2 KO's) joins Coach J on The Empire Boxing Podcast. Actually Joseph is undefeated in everything, he went 67-0 as an amateur before turning pro, competing in taekwondo, muay thai, kickboxing and boxing. Ep. 49 Boxer Ronny Rios joins Coach J for another episode of the Empire Boxing Podcast. Ronny is a California native and was a decorated amateur winning the National Golden Gloves and two US National bantamweight championships. He has held the WBC-NABF super bantamweight titles since 2019 and challenged for the WBC super bantamweight title in 2017 and the unified WBA (super) and IBF super bantamweight titles in 2022. He recently returned from a 18 month hiatus to win by knockout this past April. Coach J and Ronny talk origin story, family, the ups and downs of the sport both mentally and physically and more. Ep. 47 ELIJAH GARCIA on The Empire Boxing Podcast. Arizona native and undefeated pro boxer, Elijah Garcia (16-0, 13 KO's), joins Coach J on this week's episode. Elijah is the WBC Latino Champ, the WBO Intercontinental Champ, he's ranked # 1 by the WBA, # 2 in the USA by Box Rec and #9 in the world for his weight class. Elijah was a multi-sport athlete growing up, playing football, baseball and he even wrestled before he started to focus on boxing. Elijah comes from a long line of boxers, 4th generation to be exact, he is currently coached by his Dad, where he gives some insight into what it's like working with the father/son coaching dynamic. Elijah gives his predictions on some upcoming fights and talks about his next bout, where he will be appearing on the Tank Davis card June 15th. Hailing from Long Beach California, Emiliano is moving up the ranks quickly in the welterweight division after beating 3 undefeated fighters in a row.
