The Grumpy Old cat talks about Tesla Driver Killed After Plowing Into Fire Truck On California Freeway.
I don't like change and I don't like anything that's too fancy or complicated.
One day, as I was dozing in the sun, I heard a loud crash on the nearby freeway. I opened one eye and saw a bright red Tesla car engulfed in flames.
"Ha!" I snorted. "That's what you get for driving one of those fancy electric cars. They're nothing but trouble."
My neighbor, a friendly golden retriever named Max, walked over to see what had happened. "Oh no," Max said, looking at the burning car. "I hope everyone is okay."
I just shook my head. "I bet they weren't paying attention. Those electric cars are too complicated for their own good."
Max looked at me sympathetically. "I know you don't like electric cars, Marmalade, but they're actually very efficient and good for the environment. And this accident could have happened to any car, not just an electric one."
But I wasn't convinced. "I'll stick to my gas-powered car," I grumbled. "At least I know how it works and I don't have to worry about it catching on fire."
As the fire department arrived and the car was towed away, I settled back into my nap. Maybe Max was right, but I still couldn't see the appeal of those fancy electric cars.
