  • You Must Do It Like This!! - October 27th 2024
    Oct 29 2024
People often insist that there's only one correct path to success, reinforcing the idea that we must follow a specific, predetermined route to achieve our goals. But history, and personal stories like that of John Henry Soto, shows this isn't the case. John grew up in the South Bronx during challenging times, where few expected him to find success outside the rough environment he knew. But instead of taking the narrow, "conventional" path often recommended, John turned to his passion for the guitar—a gift from his grandfather—as a ticket to freedom. Music opened doors, enabling him to explore creative fields that many people around him hadn't even considered. This stepping stone led him to embrace storytelling, filmmaking, and eventually, digital marketing.

  • Latinos is Film - October 20th 2024
    Oct 22 2024
Latinos have long been stereotyped in Hollywood, often limited to roles that portray narrow or negative representations of our diverse cultures. For years, we've been typecast as criminals, maids, or in other roles that don’t fully capture the richness and depth of the Latino experience. However, there has been progress in recent years, with more Latino actors, filmmakers, and storytellers gaining recognition and telling authentic stories that break free from these outdated molds. But we cannot wait for Hollywood to fully open its doors—we must take charge of our own narratives. By creating our own production companies, media platforms, and independent films, we can showcase the vast array of Latino talent and tell stories on our own terms, reshaping how the world sees us. The time is now for Latinos to step into the role of creators, not just consumers, of entertainment. www.johnhenrysoto.com
