It's time for the fight of our lives. We have done the research, prepared ourselves, and postponed the recording of this five times. Now, it's finally here! Who is the best modern auteur between Quentin Tarantino and Paul Thomas Anderson?
From Reservoir Dogs and Boogie Nights to There Will Be Blood, The Master and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. We discuss the films, the performances, the cultural impact, and the entertainment value in three rounds, during which we decide once and for all who is the best of these modern master filmmakers.
Strap in...this is going to be EPIC.

There was a plan—a plan to do a new topic episode that spanned 18 films. Predictably, we ran out of time, so instead, here is a round-up of what we have been watching, playing, or reading. It includes the existential dread reflected in The Boys season 4, the horror of Longlegs, Maxxxine, and Pearl, the genius of Letterkenny, and an ideal entry point into the seminal manga/anime Berserk. Plus some horror books and mullets.

Robocop! Who is he? What is he? Where did he come from? Well, he's the topic of our latest episode. We dig into everything from the seminal 1987 classic to the two flawed '90s sequels and the remake. The satire, the violence, the behind-the-scenes shenanigans, it's all here.
In addition, we debate the future of video games, review Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga and revisit Fallout 4.

On a brand-new episode, we are no longer horsing around as we discuss the much-loved and much-derided sub-genre of Found Footage. From The Blair Witch Project to Cloverfield to the recent Late Night with the Devil, no stone is left unturned, and no gap in logic is tolerated. In addition to the classics, we go over The Tunnel, Rec 1&2, End of Watch, and the VHS franchise!
In addition, we review the recent Fallout TV show, Abigail and Boy Kills World.

**Please note from 45:00 onwards assume we will spoil all of the found footage movies we discuss**

In our new episode, we shamble into and barricade ourselves in the studio for an intense and scary examination of George A. Romero's zombie apocalypse films, from the seminal Night of the Living Dead to the dire Diary of the Dead and the classic Dawn of the Dead and everything in between. The influences, the legacy, the subtext—it's all covered.
We also review Anatomy of a Fall, Dune Part Two, The Zone of Interest and Unicorn Overlord.

We are back! And we have decided to re-introduce the main topics! On this new episode, we decided to talk about one of our combined favorite films - Francis Ford Coppola's 1979 Vietnam epic Apocalypse Now. We go through its troubled production history, its legacy, and its influences and finally render a critical consensus on the career of its director.
In addition, we give our early thoughts on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, review Mr and Mrs Smith on Amazon Prime, and give stern warnings about the quality of The Exorcist: Believer and Rebel Moon.

After a long break, we are back! We harken back to one of our most popular episodes where we talked about dinner and discuss our ideal series of courses and what media will accompany them. Through the silliness we get to cover Renfield, It's always sunny in Philadelphia, John Wick 4, Train to Busan, Beef, Street Fighter 6, Dawn of the Dead, and Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3.
We also cover the biggest disappointments since the hiatus and mismarketed movies.
