When she's not writing, Julie reads, gardens, hikes, and drink wine. She's a widow and mother to three adult children. She enjoys life with two elderly rescue dogs. Julie holds three defgrees from Virginia Commonwealth University.

    Her debut historical fiction set in the 1920s, She Danced Anyway, released in June 2024. Her second novel, His Christmas Muse, came out in December 2024. A second book, Her Christmas Project, completes the duology. The planned release date for Her Christmas Project is July 2025. Julie's currently working on a historical fiction story with dual timelines.
