  • My Life After: Banking - “Setting Sail”
    May 28 2024
In today's episode I speak with a former currency Trader, Brian Hill, who went from a job teaching sailing, to ending up as a trader on Wall Street.

We talk about what it was like to cut his teeth in this demanding career, navigating through uncertainty during a financial crisis, and why he and his family decided to pack his bags and sail the world for the past 3 years.

Of note, as we go through this journey I omit the name of the most recent bank that he left as it is not important to the story.

What is important is that this was a lifelong dream that Brian started thinking about and planning with his wife, many, many years ago. And when the opportunity presented itself to travel the world during the pandemic, they took the leap of faith and dived right in or should I say, “set sail”.
