I've been hesitant to start reading the full Plutarch's Lives, because it can be overwhelming to begin a 5,000 page ancient document - Tom is great at explaining and summarizing and offering helpful advice on the reading.
Really glad I found it.
Fantastic Introduction and Guide to Plutarch

My only critique is that the viewpoint on the psychology of these people and the moral conception of the behavior of many of the people the podcast holds might be using contemporary views on what is permissible to judge people in the past. Not that political murder isn’t good but the proforma denunciations of such behavior I think flattens ones understanding of the time, place and challenges these people faced.
Useful and thoughtful
