About this listen
This week, we go deep into the weeds answering a listener's question: HOW DOES A FILM SCORE COME TO EXIST?
From choosing a composer, to creating a temporary reference score, to developing unique music to serve your film's vision-- it's a fascinating journey to watch a score emerge as an integral part of your finished movie.
Plus, Liz's favorite thing this week is the Netflix show Adolescence.
We love hearing from you! Got a question or topic for discussion in a future episode? Please email us or send a voice memo to hello@oncuepodcast.com.
This episode is produced and edited by Kathleen Gallacher.
This week's cocktail or mocktail-- THE BUSTED ANKLE:
1 oz purple gin (for a mocktail, use blueberry juice)
1 oz sweet red vermouth (for a mocktail, use unsweetened cranberry juice)
1 oz Galliano (for a mocktail, use fresh lemon juice with 3 drops of vanilla extract, 2 drops of anise extract)
Shake all ingredients with ice, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with dried lemon or a twist.
