Today I was joined by Richard, the Founder & Director of Operations for the UK and US at Consult Energy Recruitment Headquartered in Birmingham UK.

In this episode we talked about Richard’s business and how when things are going well it’s hard to take time to focus on what needs to be changed inside our businesses. Why investigate change when profit is growing?

However during the lockdown Richard and his business partner Kevin have been seriously looking into the operating model of the business in an attempt to be stronger in the future.

Most notably he said that too often have the people in his agency operated as ‘islands’ as opposed to ‘cogs’ in a collective machine, team work and unity is now the focus for everyone!
