    Let's return to 1999 and have fun adventures in New York City! In this episode, author Suzanne Rindell joins me to talk about her novel, "Summer Fridays." The story follows Sawyer, an editorial assistant in NYC during the summer of 1999, as she forms an unexpected friendship with Nick amidst their partners' busy schedules. Suzanne shares her inspiration from NYC post 9/11 and the pandemic, discusses her characters, and gives recommendations for summer activities in NYC. She also talks about her transition from writing historical mysteries to rom-coms, her favorite authors, and her hope for her new book.

So in this episode, we talk more about Jessie's novel, her reading and writing life, and even play a fun game about things to do in Italy.
