In all my time as a property investor, I have never paid a builder a penny before they have started working on one of my projects!

Yet I meet investors regularly who continue to pay in advance, and unfortunately, some sorry stories where they have lost significant amounts of money as a result.

Go big or go home

Large projects are just as easy as small ones

1 large project could make you for life

Just some of the statements I hear from trainers who probably haven’t done any bigger projects.

In reality big is not always best, they come with more risk, and if you are doing one for the first time, you really need to work with an experienced team and potentially also a mentor.

This is the sorry tale of one of these developments that went horribly wrong.
