    Mar 13 2025

The Heart of Veganism

Rich Roll and Earthling Ed Winters - I have never hit "play" so quickly for any podcast episode before, and this was truly everything I could have hoped for, and more. This conversation spoke to and encompassed the heart of the vegan movement, and did so in such an inviting, well informed, well spoken, calm, and thought provoking manner. Veganism is compassion, mercy, respect for all life, hope, and the desire for a better future for all living beings, and so often that is not the message that is either put out there, or received. I learned so much from this episode about how to become a better advocate for the animals, and how to use self reflection as part of that advocacy. I was sad to reach the end, but thrilled to download Ed Winter's new book on Audible. Thank you for this conversation! I will be recommending it to everyone.

don't interrupt

like listening to Rich Roll and his guests. I just wish he would stop interrupting them. he does this right when they are going to make a point, then he interrupts and takes over the conversation. Almost 90% of the time the conversation goes off into a tangent and the point the guest was trying to make is never made. so annoying.
