Thrilling Story

Great performance and effects; fresh story details; very satisfying short listen. Titus Welliver narration is perfect, as always. Wonderful entertainment!

A definite spine chiller

I truly believe we in our ignorance sometimes open doors that should never be opened. This actually gave me the chills. It was performed well except for a couple of complaints. Sometimes the dialogue appeared to be somewhat rushed and at others was almost inaudible. For example, some of the conversations over phone lines. On a personal note, the ending was definitely chilling to me because I lost my mother two years ago and her favorite song was Doris Day singing Que Sera Sera. Such an obscure song choice, don’t you think?

Loved it

Great short story. The audio performances were outstanding. It is a little spooky at times if you’re sensitive to things like that.

How well the narrative was seeing as there was no actual acting

I liked the story and it was always very clear spoken. I have hearing impairment and sometimes audibles are mumbled to me. This was not at all

Outstanding!

The story and performances will keep you on your toes the whole time! The only thing that bugged me is the fact that his daughter has the same name as my daughter but other than that, perfect storytelling and very well done. More like that please

Loved it!

Great story, great narration, great performance! All the actors did a phenomenal job bring the story to life. I love these short & sweet productions, reminds me of the old radio stories my grandparents used to huddle around the radio & listen to.

Standing ovation!

I wish I could high five everyone on this team! The acting, the sound design, the story itself… it’s everything one looks for in an audio book.

As I said to my kids, it’s like watching a movie with your ears. Immersive in a way that traditionally read books aren’t (which is not to say that I don’t love both).

I think this is a BRILLIANT treatment for a short story- the podcast format was innovative. I hope hope hope MC does more.

Again, big kudos to everyone involved in making this happen. What a treat!

The story was great but the performance beyond perfect!

Great short story. I couldn't stop listening, the story itself is entertaining and thought a bit predictable at times the performance and storyline make it impossible to not enjoy.
