The Secret Adversary with Teresa and Bill Peschel

  • Summary

  • Who else could make Rebecca re-read a Tommy and Tuppence book other than the fantastic Teresa and Bill Peschel of Peschel Press? They discuss how the book reflects the style and interests of the time, the parody aspect of the book, and whether Rebecca actually enjoyed reading this one (surprise: she did!).

Teresa, who wrote a book of reviews of Christie adaptations, Agatha Christie, She Watched, talks them through the various adaptations of this book. Bill explains his work in creating the annotated version of the novel, and why he thinks annotated books are so important.

Tea & Murder is great

The podcast series is great. This episode interviews two people who themselves provide a podcast series about Dame Agatha, which is also at the top of the stack. The episode is very very good.
