  • Heeeeeere's Johnny! In honor of the spooky season, we review one of the best spooky films of all time (IMO), The Shining! Whether it's the film's aesthetic, the unnerving audio, or Jack's descent into madness, The Shining will ensure that you are properly disturbed as Halloween approaches. 

    Both of us absolutely recommend The Shining to anyone who has not yet seen this classic! Kubrick's adaptation of the Stephen King novel is exemplary. The cinematography brings the audience into the Overlook Hotel and ensures that they fully experience the madness that overtakes Jack Torrance.

    While the film does deviate from the novel, it still stays true to the experience.  We both highly recommend the film and novel.
