    The owners of the The Christmas House in St. John's were taken to court two years ago, for operating without a permit. That case was thrown out, and the city has since appealed that decision. In St. John's, a 2019 study found that around half of MUN students have experienced food insecurity. Now, the campus food bank and Food First NL have come together with a survey to see the full picture of food insecurity on campus.
