In this episode you'll likely feel the joy radiating from Tangy Williams as she talks to us about life with her son, Nicholus. Diagnosed with autism at 18 months, Nick is now 22 and a proud high school graduate. And he was recently hired by the Jewel Osco supermarket chain near Chicago.

With her husband of 25 years, and their older son, Nick has quite a support team, as well an extended village that Tangy credits in this episode of the Superpower Radio Show. She shares how to build your village and the driving force that gives her hope and fuels her joy.

On those days when you feel defeated and deflated (we all have them) as a caregiver to a loved one with superpowers, listen to this episode (#43) again and again until you catch Tangy Williams' joy.

Meet Marianne Nagl, an amazing 32-year old wife and mother of three, recently diagnosed with high-functioning, level 1 autism. Marianne spent most of her life being misdiagnosed: ADD, bipolar, manic depressive. She felt different. She was too honest, and couldn't lie, making relationships and even simple conversations difficult. She couldn't be imaginative, and found it normal to gender identify objects.

After twenty years and a dozen psychologists, she received her diagnosis in 2023. Hearing her incredible journey in this episode will challenge you to be kinder, more patient, and accepting of people with superpowers. You'll cheer for Marianne and other autistic adults.
