  • During the time Jesus walked the earth, racial prejudice had been alive and well between the Jews and the Samaritans for centuries. It was so entrenched that the two neighbouring populations avoided any physical contact with each other. This is the environment within which Jesus, a Jew, took his public ministry. This study will discuss Jesus’ encounter with the woman at the well, along with the testimony of the Samaritans.
