Everyone has different experiences when it comes to school and friends and faith. Jeremy and his friend David have a conversation about their experiences at Christian schools and public schools and how it has shaped their lives. Madi adds to the conversation by talking about what she took away from listening to David and they dive deeper into Christian friendships that have the ability to create growth in each person's life.

As we enter a new season of our lives and of this podcast we wanted to talk a little about our purpose and our plans for where this podcast is headed. We're excited about the conversations that are around the corner and we hope that the conversations that we start here will continue into conversations that transform your own community.

Everyone experiences change throughout their lifetime. I had a conversation with my friend Ben about what it's like to leave behind something that feels so familiar to pursue something that is completely unknown. For us, this was going to college. For him, it was driving over 22 hours to a place that is very different from where he grew up his whole life. We talk about what it's like leaving what always felt like normal, but we also get into talking about what it is like coming back to where we started. Whatever changes you have experienced in the past and will be experiencing in the future, this conversation will give you a glimpse into how we face leaving what is comfortable and entering into the unknown.

It would be hard to find a young adult these days who has never had a social media account. These apps have become an important part of today's society and have proven to have both positive and negative effects on people's lives. Jeremy's sister, Julia Bharwani, joins the podcast as our first ever guest to talk about how social media has impacted her life and how it relates to how it has impacted each one of our lives. A common issue with social media for each of us is it lures us into the trap of comparison. We take a look into why we use social media in the first place and the motivations behind what we use it for. We also have a conversation about how we can use social media in a positive way in both our everyday life and our faith.

When times are tough it's easy to feel alone and lost. Luckily, as Christians, we have the confidence that no matter how difficult our life may feel, God promises us that He is always there with us and keeping us on the path towards His love. We talk about how each of us has seen God provide in our lives when we need it most and how easy it is to forget that He is faithful even after He provides for us. Sometimes it is even the fast-paced nature of today's society that makes it more difficult for us to remember God's promises. So how do we keep from forgetting?

The past few months have been a time like no other. We talk about how we have dealt with the disappointments and a completely new way of life brought on by a pandemic. We also realize that God has been working through even a time like this and we each share how He has been working in our lives.

We continue the conversation about living authentically in this crazy world as Christians, but more than that, as children of God. Join us as we open up about some of our experiences with finding authenticity amidst negative influences, lies from the enemy, and our own fears. We hope you realize that the opinions and misunderstandings of others are not what determines who you are because your every breath has been given to you by the Lord for a reason! While we are all broken and imperfect humans, we are fully known and fully loved by God. He has a plan for you and He wants to know your authentically broken self because even with all your imperfections, you are perfect in His eyes.

As we launch this new podcast, one of our goals is to be authentic and real as we talk about our experiences, emotions, ideas, and influences. In this episode, we look to the Bible as a reminder that God created each one of us exactly how He intended us to be. Now its a matter of are we listening to who God says we are or are we listening to who the people around us say we are.
