Tired of just getting the gist of it?
If you love true crime this podcast is definitely worth a follow. Melissa is thorough, does her research and gives you every detail. Her seductive accent helps to hook you as she delves into the lives and crimes of these horrible people(most of the time). I say most of the time because when it's warranted, she does go to great lengths to explain how unfortunate factors play into these killers lives. She doesn't condone it but she does make it clear that a lot of things sometimes lead to who they became.
She also pours her apparently massive heart into the victims and their ordeal. Not just those that suffered at the hands of these "garbage human beings" but their families as well.
Though not always for the squeamish (cannibals anyone?) the show is amazing and well put together. The early episodes have some rough audio at times but they quickly improve, maybe she got a better mic?
You'll love how she gets worked up and adds that Texan wit and perspective. My only complaint is that the episodes don't come at regular intervals which she does apologize for. Maybe she'll try a seasonal format in the future.
Definitely do yourself a favor and check it out
