September 14th holds a special place in Wolverine lore, as it was this day in 1975 that the iconic football post-game TV show, "Michigan Replay" debuted...and on a sad note, on September 14th, 1972, we lost the great Michigan All-American and head coach, Harry Kipke. Kip remains the only Wolverine to win a national championship as both a player in 1923 and as a head coach in 1932 and 1933. This day will forever be enshrined in Michigan football lore for what happened on this day in 1991. Some of you know it when I simply utter the down in distance, 4th & 1.
