  • Paige's Perspective: Social Media Is Loud, But You Don’t Have to Be Lost in It

In this episode, Paige gets real about the toll social media can take on our nervous systems, identity, and sense of reality. Inspired by a quote—“Normal is 7 hours of screen time a day”—she opens up about why she’s taking a step back, how social media may create low-agency behavior, and what it really means to get back to the basics.

This isn’t a lecture—it’s a wake-up call for anyone feeling overstimulated, stuck in the scroll, and slowly losing themselves in the noise.

If you’ve ever thought, “I should be able to handle it,” but deep down know it’s messing with your mental health, this one’s for you.

Because maybe, just maybe… it’s time to put the phone down.

  • High Agency, Part Two: Navigating the Traps That Keep You Stuck
    Apr 2 2025

Have an episode suggestion? Text us!

In Part Two of our High Agency series, Matt and Paige dive even deeper into what it really means to live a high agency life—and what gets in the way.

We unpack the traps that keep people stuck: the vague trap, the midwit trap, the rumination trap, and the overwhelm trap. You’ll hear how overthinking and searching for the perfect, risk-free solution leaves people paralyzed, stuck in fantasy instead of action. We talk about defining problems clearly, trusting your gut, experimenting with bold choices, and taking the smallest next step to break through analysis paralysis.

    You’ll also hear:

    • The “Evil Twin” thought experiment: What would the most high-agency version of you do?
    • How to stop chasing clarity and start earning it through action
    • Why even painful or imperfect action is better than passive confusion
    • The truth about trade-offs: there is no perfect decision, only movement
    • The difference between controlling others and influencing outcomes with integrity
    • Value Activation: the drill that helps you stop talking about your values and actually live them
    • A framework for turning bullshit into reality—from journaling and wishing to doing and becoming

We also explore how to break down overwhelming problems into levels—just like video games do—and how taking action, even imperfectly, is what creates momentum, healing, and growth.

This episode will help you shift from vibes to reality, from inspiration to execution, and from feeling stuck to living on purpose.

You don’t need more clarity—you need more courage.

I feel so understood.

My husband and I have been on a roller coaster for 2 years and addiction relapse has been the icing on the cake. I have friends to talk to, but nobody understands this life if you aren’t living in it. I have gained so much comfort, confidence, clarity, and guidance from these podcasts. I was sitting in quicksand and had no plan of how to get out until I found TWFO. I can’t thank Matt and Paige enough.

Relatable

I’ve only listened to a few episodes so far and I started from the beginning. I couldn’t have found y’all at a better time in my life and I’m so grateful. I’m learning so much so far. I can’t wait to hear more and get myself back on track.
