In this episode I again wrestle with the insanity and chaos which is Donald Trump. Such carnage he leaves behind. You just wait until election day and he has to come to grips with another loss. I save that topic for another day. In this episode I discuss the code whereby he is guided. It's clear to me - he has none. But I will let you know in this episode how I came to that conclusion. Even Detective Bunk Moreland declares to Omar D Little that, "Every man has a Code." to which Omar responds, "NO DOUBT!" What is Trump's and I share some insights and concerns for his Robin, JD Vance. I'm here for you JD if you get this message. You are young enough to get better. Don? Nah, nah, nah. . . No earthly redemption for him.

I undertake this stressful, time consuming, thankless task for the sole purpose of spreading the love to anyone who will listen. Truly!

Monday, Monday. I sorta kinda felt that way on Monday but I do not claim to be even at the same as YOU who have real jobs. So, for me it was a day to sort through things of the previous week and share them with the sole selfish intention of relieving me of the stress of it. However, if by any slim chance at all, that I can help YOU to lighten YOUR load by unburdening myself- I am here for you.
This is just the introduction to unleashing on THIS and THAT! I provide hints on THIS and THAT but I share with you my day and EXACTLY how Wednesday can become Tuesday which is actually Monday. True

EVERY MAN MUST HAVE A CODE!! So says Bunk Moreland to Omar Little in "The Wire." Even though Omar's code was a very low bar, he had some level of integrity and dignity. There were boundaries.
What is Trump's code? Does he have one? I think so. I started the process of trying to understand some years ago by looking into his professional life and those who influenced him. The information is there. It is revealing. I found it possible to ask some people if they had ever heard of the name of a person who is known to be closely associated with Trump's inner circle. And they would have no idea. No problem. I understand you not having the time. I have plenty. So, I got you. I have given a lot of it in an attempt to understand the whole phenomenon around him. So, I am going to share with you that which I have discovered. It is past time for this country to move on without the CHAOS he brings. I look forward to when the only time we hear from him is from a courtroom. Lot of catching up to do there.

As a life long Falcons Fan, I have known far too many defeats and disappointments over the years. Far too many curse words have been uttered (screamed out actually), items broken, relationships injured due to no one being able to watch the game with me. Bad moods, emotional outbursts and even physical repercussions have been the norm. So, I have come to grips with my addiction and am committed to maintaining a measure of reasonable sanity while still being a fan.
So, as your humble fellow Falcon fan, I invite you to pray with me before tonight's game. Not to win the game or even to pray for player safety because that always goes without saying or praying. But for the well being of those who follow faithfully this exasperating team. SERENITY NOW

September - the football equivalent of baseball's spring training. "Hope SPRINGS eternal right?" But September is not spring, but nearing fall. So, does that mean for my football team that "Hope FALLS eternal?" All football fans hope that is not so, even though it may be the experience of the fans of the Atlanta Falcons for a majority of seasons. BUT this year is supposed to be different. New QB new Coaches and new faces on defense have created an optimism among Falcons' fans that has rarely occurred.
HOWEVER . . . it seems like there is always a however or a but or an although. And for this Falcon fan it only required ONE game to diminish my optimism. Overreaction? I don't think so and in this podcast I state my case. I hope I am wrong. I have been before. But most of the time I have been wrong is when my optimism concerning this team was high and was proved to be delusional. So, at least we may need to slow our roll a bit. HOWEVER, GO FALCONS!

We all have them in one form or another. If you are aware of them and not living in denial, then you are can probably stay on top and not be a victim of them. THIS EF3H SYNDROME is my most subtle of all my demons. You may also suffer from it as well, but under a different name.
Learn from my mistakes. Let MY PAIN assist in keeping you from experiencing your own pain.

This is the very first episode of the Trumpdate portion of my podcast, under the banner of Smooth Criminal, even though very little about him is smooth. In this initial episode I utilize an article written by Rev. Kenneth Chalker of the Circle United Methodist Church of Cleveland, OH. Rev Chalker articulately addresses the perplexing contradiction between the support for Trump of large numbers of Evangelical Christians and the teachings of Christ himself. Since I too have found this to be beyond maddening, I wisely chose to use his words and add many more words of my own to try to make sense of something so nonsensical. Even though this may fall upon deaf ears, it will not because I have neglected to say it. If a tree falls in a forest does it make a sound? Yes, it absolutely does. This is the first of many trees that will be falling from my sword concerning this dangerous human being. Will you "hear" it? I don't know, but I have done my part.

It was too good to be true. Ride into town for an EMG with the Doc - stay the night and ride out next morning and back home all within 24 hours. But, Debby crashed the party and not only rained on my parade, but BROKE MY HEART and hurt my neck.
